Lycia Rodrigues

Registered Clinical Counsellor

Lycia (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 15 years of experience in Counselling, Psychology, and Gerontology. She is passionate about walking alongside women as they navigate change, healing, and self-discovery. Over the past decade, she has facilitated caregiver support groups, particularly for families navigating the challenges of stroke recovery and the emotional impact of caregiving. Throughout her career, Lycia has supported mothers experiencing burnout, immigrants building new beginnings, caregivers facing compassion fatigue, and women living with grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She has also worked extensively with families experiencing caregiving stress, relationship difficulties, and family conflict through a Family Systems lens. Lycia offers a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients can reconnect with themselves and find new meaning in their stories. Her approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt Therapy, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, somatic practices, and Family Systems frameworks. She supports clients in developing greater self-compassion, healing from trauma, and strengthening their relationships with themselves and others. She believes there is no single path to healing—only your unique path, taken one step at a time with curiosity, courage, and care.
