Tiela Warris

Registered Clinical Counsellor

Tiela Warris (she/her) specializes in softening life transitions, people pleasing tendencies, unpacking trauma, and reconnecting with yourself and what is most important to you. Her style is best described as authentic, warm, non-judgemental, and collaborative, with the aim to make you feel supported in your healing journey at whatever stage you are at. She draws on your innate resiliency and unique life experiences to support you with shedding light on unhelpful coping patterns, finding self-compassion, and addressing the roots of what is keeping you stuck. Tiela supports clients through the lens of Parts Work/IFS, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and CBT. Through this lens, she works with your internal conflicts and self-criticisms to create a deeper understanding of your unhelpful coping strategies. Once understood, we can befriend the different parts of us with compassion and resolve the causes of indecision, uncertainty, relational fear, and historical trauma.
