Sessions take place through a secure, encrypted video platform that meets Canadian privacy standards. There are no downloads required. Once your appointment is booked, you'll receive an email with a secure link. At your session time, click the link to enter a virtual waiting room, then join your counsellor from a private space of your choosing.
Just a device with a camera and microphone (a phone, tablet, or computer), a reliable internet connection, and a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable talking. That's it, with no special software to install.
Online counselling is available to women located anywhere in British Columbia. Because our counsellors are BC-registered (RCC, RSW, or CCC), we can see clients who are physically located in BC at the time of their session, so wherever you are in the province, you can access our support.
Many extended health benefit plans cover counselling provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Registered Social Worker (RSW), or Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), whether sessions are online or in-person. We recommend checking with your benefits provider for specific coverage details.
