At the core of Breeana’s (she/her) work is a deeply held belief that we are wired for connection. Experiencing painful emotions—or not having our joy and happiness met and celebrated—can be incredibly isolating. As a counsellor of European settler ancestry, she is committed to the ongoing work of decolonizing her practice, aiming to co-create a culturally responsive, anti-oppressive space to safely explore cultural and systemic trauma.
Breeana works from a trauma-informed, depth-oriented lens that centers the nervous system and our inner world. She prioritizes creating safety and building a deep, trusting relationship before moving into deeper work. Breeana helps you heal by encouraging a slowing down and creating space to be curious about the intersections of your mind, body, and spirit. She uses herself in sessions, showing up as her real, fully human self to support you in discovering what you are capable of.
Ultimately, Breeana believes that we are built for healing, and that relationship is the key function for deep psychological change. Integrating these values into her own life, she finds peace and grounding in the ocean and forests, while embodying healing through movement and dance.
