Nicola Doughty

Registered Clinical Counsellor

Nicola Doughty is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with over 20 years of experience helping women navigate life's most challenging moments, from trauma and relationship struggles to neurodiversity, anxiety, and the quiet sense that something just isn't right. Nicola's approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply human. Nicola brings both warmth and directness to the work. She respects that your time is valuable and won't dance around what matters. Sessions are trauma-informed and draw on somatic, existential, narrative, and attachment therapies, meaning the work is tailored to you: your story, your body, your life. Together, you'll slow down, create space, and gently explore the experiences and emotions that have been keeping you stuck. So many women who have worked with Nicola describe those pivotal "a-ha" moments of shifted perspective, released old stories, and a new sense of clarity that changes how they relate to themselves and the people around them.

Nicola’s office is located at 1037 W Broadway, Unit 201, Vancouver
